Welcome
to McCaffrey House Bed and Breakfast Inn - AAA Four Diamond lodging
- set within a quiet forest hollow in the California Sierra Mountains.
Surrounding this award winning inn are majestic oak, cedar, and
pine trees - marking the edge of the Stanislaus National Forest
and Emigrant Wilderness. Ever-changing, this Gold Country region
is noted for a traditional four-season climate, breathtaking beauty
and abundance of activities and events.
The
delightfully warm and charming three-story country home was designed
and built by your hosts, Michael and Stephanie
McCaffrey. To best care for their guests, the couple kept
one essential theme in mind - warmth and comfort. The country-style
Inn has a charm that makes every guest feel at home both at the
inn and in the picturesque town of Twain
Harte, CA. Of special interest, McCaffrey House was voted
"Best B&B in Tuolumne County"
by readers of the Sonora Union Democrat.
General
gathering areas are spacious and tastefully decorated, with a
large collection of furniture and art acquired by Michael and
Stephanie during their travels. All appointments have such a welcoming
touch that they extend an invitation to come often and stay
a while. Please check our specials
for extended stays!
Each
guest room is artfully decorated
in an accent of colors borrowed from the queen or king sized quilts
- handmade by the Amish of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
