Tuolumne County is rich in beautiful wildflowers. Some 300 species bloom from the Early spring until the first snows. There are several rare and endangered species found in the county, six of which can be viewed in the Red Hills area alone (that’s more than most counties have on their entire inventory).

Listed below are some of the many areas where wildflowers can be enjoyed throughout the spring and summer months.
